Dispatcher

About the role

Red Cap is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team of creative and energetic employees dedicated to providing the best customer service experience every day. Dispatchers are responsible for scheduling and dispatching home services repair, installation, and maintenance technicians to specified customer locations for service and repair.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor daily technician schedule
• Review, analyze, and audit work orders
• Dispatch work orders to field technicians according to priority and location
• Receive and record completed work orders from the field technicians
• Contact customers to confirm next-day appointments
• Communicate with field personnel via Outlook
• Handle paperwork for assigned departments and technicians
• Maintain accurate technician database
• Clock in and out technicians
• Coordinate parts scheduling
• Clock in and out technicians
• Coordinate warranty installations with other divisions
• Answer general questions regarding rebates, system operations, warranties, etc. from customers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC, Plumbing, or a related industry
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
