Dispatcher

Role Purpose

Cook up wheelchair and cart services between the Client and employees. Ensure all data is recorded according to company regulations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Must be familiar with and abide by all Client/company regulations
• Work with Client Special Services Representatives to ensure all requests for services are met
• Escalate issues to operations Manager immediately
• Communicate and interact courteously and tactfully with fellow employees and passengers if necessary
• Maintain all service transactions in wheelchair tracking program (Watershed and Excel) format
• Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from Client representatives and employees in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain and distribute tablets and radios
• Always complete the appropriate documentation and reports in thorough and timely manner
• Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs
• Provide general information and directions to passengers
• Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public in a courteous manner
• Attend meetings and in services as required
• Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required

What We Are Looking For

• Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
• 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
• Able to proficiently read, write and speak English
• Comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
• Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Have high school diploma, GED or six months’ experience as an Operations Agent
• Excellent communication skills required
• Remain calm and efficient under pressure
• Come competent in handling difficult situations
