About the role
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a Dispatcher to support the Dispatch Supervisor in fulfilling all fleet and dispatch office needs. The role involves creating and managing routes, ensuring drivers complete necessary paperwork, and promoting safe driving practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure drivers complete all required daily paperwork: Driver logs, pre and post-trip inspections, and fuel receipts.
- Avoid delays in customer returns by ensuring they are completed within 3 days of creation.
- Handle will-call customers and assist with Samsara driving alerts.
- Track drivers on Elite and close out all routes and open orders daily.
- Train drivers on PIV, tablet, and safety expectations (may involve road tests).
- Complete all routing requests before scheduled cut-off times.
- Backup for Dispatch Supervisor and EComm.
- Communicate effectively with call center, sales, customers, drivers, and other locations.
- Perform spot checks on trucks for cleanliness and compliance, assist drivers in case of breakdowns.
- Operate power equipment as needed.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with U.S. AutoForce's driver policy.
- One year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi) and satisfactory completion of company road test.
- One year experience in transportation industry.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and legal requirements for drivers.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
- Pass a forklift certification test.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
- Follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one per DOT/FMCSA guidelines and requirements during the hiring process.

Pay
$21-$25.50/hr.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or until work is completed + rotating Saturdays.
