About the role

Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses around the United States. We are seeking a dynamic Dispatcher to join Nick’s Plumbing and Air Conditioning, a thriving business that believes in work-life balance and values its team members.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer requests and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, salespersons, and management
• Schedule service and routine maintenance appointments
• Maintain and update customer records based on interactions
• Process invoice payments
• Provide information about products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services that benefit customers
• Participate in in-house training on products, services, and office software required for the position
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus
• Ability to cultivate strong rapport with customers and co-workers
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work well independently and with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment
• Enjoy helping others with patience and empathy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual workstation or office
• Communicate verbally via phone or other communication devices
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear, both in person and by telephone
• Use hands to type, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds
• Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment

Pay

$15 - $20 / hr

Schedule

This is an in-office role, not remote. The schedule will include evenings and weekends.
