About the role
Red Cap is currently seeking a Dispatcher to join their team of creative and energetic employees dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch home services repair, installation, and maintenance technicians to specified customer locations.
- Review, analyze, and audit work orders.
- Dispatch work orders to field technicians according to priority and location.
- Receive and record completed work orders from the field technicians.
- Contact customers to confirm next-day appointments.
- Communicate with field personnel via Outlook.
- Handle paperwork for assigned departments and technicians.
- Maintain an accurate technician database.
- Clock in and out technicians as needed.
- Coordinate parts scheduling.
- Coordinate warranty installations with other divisions.
- Answer general questions regarding rebates, system operations, warranties, etc. from customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience, preferably in HVAC, Plumbing, or a related industry.
- Basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications.
- Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
