Responsibilities
- Technician Deployment: Strategically schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, optimizing resource allocation based on customer requirements and technician availability. Ensure seamless routing to maximize efficiency and response times.
- Operational Oversight: Continuously monitor and coordinate the activities of the repair and maintenance teams, implementing adjustments to workflows and schedules to meet dynamic service demands.
- Communications Management: Serve as the pivotal communication link between technicians, customers, and upper management, ensuring all parties are informed of updates, delays, and resolutions.
- Data Management: Maintain rigorous records of service calls, technician deployments, and job outcomes. Ensure data integrity and accessibility for operational analysis and reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations, ensuring all operations are conducted within legal and ethical standards.
- Customer Relations: Deliver exemplary customer service by swiftly addressing inquiries and effectively resolving any issues, thereby maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Advanced System Use: Utilize sophisticated dispatch software and technology to enhance operational efficiency and provide real-time updates on service statuses.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics, operations management, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in a dispatch role, ideally within a technical repair or maintenance context.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proficiency in technical language pertinent to operational logistics.
- High-level organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Advanced proficiency in dispatch and operational management software.
- Knowledge of technical repair and maintenance protocols and best practices.
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
Pay and Benefits
Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour
