Responsibilities
- Takes client calls and communicates issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.
- Maintains radio, telephones and on-road provision of service for quality.
- Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service.
- Monitors and completes driver sign-in and sign-out daily.
- Makes assignments to drivers to ensure adequate distribution of trips across all assigned routes.
- Maintains oversight of daily system performance.
- Analyzes and reviews operating performance.
- Notices and communicates closed or delayed routes to Dispatch Supervisors and/or Dispatch Managers as necessary.
Qualifications
- One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Trapeze software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to high customer service standards.
- Proven ability to handle phone calls professionally.
- Knowledge of the service area is a plus.
Pay
Starting pay rate: $20.81/hour
