Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Takes client calls and communicates issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.
• Maintains radio, telephones and on-road provision of service for quality.
• Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service.
• Monitors and completes driver sign-in and sign-out daily.
• Makes assignments to drivers to ensure adequate distribution of trips across all assigned routes.
• Maintains oversight of daily system performance.
• Analyzes and reviews operating performance.
• Notices and communicates closed or delayed routes to Dispatch Supervisors and/or Dispatch Managers as necessary.

Qualifications

• One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Trapeze software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to high customer service standards.
• Proven ability to handle phone calls professionally.
• Knowledge of the service area is a plus.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $20.81/hour
