Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Takes client calls and communicates issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.
• Maintains radio, telephones, and on-road service quality.
• Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service.
• Schedules trips for drivers to ensure adequate trip distribution across all routes.
• Maintains oversight of daily system performance.
• Analyzes and reviews operating performance metrics.
• Notifies Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers about closed or delayed routes.

Qualifications

• One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Trapeze software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Professional phone manner.
• Knowledge of the service area is a plus.

Pay

Starting Wage: $28.30 per hour
