Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching field technicians to projects daily as well as additional administrative tasks, typing daily reports. This position will travel at least 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with subcontractors to coordinate and schedule inspections
• Track field and lab supplies inventory and place orders
• Answer and direct client calls to appropriate staff
• Aid with Company Fleet Vehicle maintenance scheduling and inventory
• Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software
• Follow up with clients regarding scheduling requests and reporting
• Perform various general lab and field administrative support duties
• Research a wide variety of information requests

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of dispatching or administrative experience is preferred
• Experience is Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames

Qualifications

• Dispatching experience in the Construction Materials Testing industry is preferred

Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

The base wage or salary range for this position is $25-$30 per hour.
