Dispatcher

Remote position.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with rotating weekend on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Receive and communicate requests (dispatching) and establish priorities to dispatch internal and external personnel to specific destinations in an organized and timely fashion.
• Answer telephone calls, service requests, take accurate messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals with a friendly voice and a sense of urgency.
• Communicate pending workload, staffing concerns, changes, and status with other dispatchers and subsequent shift personnel.
• Perceive customer requests as opportunities to help, handling requests directly or suggesting solutions.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience dispatching in a healthcare maintenance environment or comparable experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
