About the role

The operation runs between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and the selected candidate's shift will fall within those hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily routes and bus scheduling
• Dispatching buses and ensuring on-time route performance
• Counseling and coaching drivers and monitors
• Managing heavy phone and radio traffic
• Receiving scheduling concerns and driver complaints and reporting them to the Operations Supervisor or Contract Manager
• Serving as a primary communication liaison with the contracted customer
• Helping resolve student drop-off and pick-up concerns
• Auxiliary support for charter reservations, billing, or driver payroll
• Performing backup driving or miscellaneous clerical duties as required
• Completing special projects and additional assignments
• Supervising day-to-day transportation operations

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous terminal operations, dispatch, or professional driving experience
• Basic knowledge of radio-dispatch equipment
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Effective under deadlines and time constraints
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

$23.00 per hour
