Dispatcher

Job Summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Dispatcher based out of their Tinton Falls, NJ office to coordinate and schedule aggregate material orders in their East region. This role is responsible for effectively communicating and interacting with customers.

About the role

• Recognize and prevent scheduling conflicts and/or special requests
• Point of contact for all customers for all aggregate sites when placing orders
• Utilize computer programs to assure correct billing and order fulfillment
• Effectively communicate and interact with customers, truckers, vendors, and co-workers
• DEP record keeping/reporting for plant production and hours of operation
• Problem job reports
• Verification of hours for weekly payroll
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-call volume environment preferred
• Dispatch and/or logistics experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good cognitive skills
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to multi-task

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.

Compensation

$51,198 - $65,111 annually
