Dispatcher Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dispatcher assistant to join our team. This position involves assisting the lead dispatcher in efficiently coordinating and dispatching our technicians to ensure swift and superb service for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching our technicians while continuously tracking their work status and location
• Managing the emergency service schedule, rearranging by urgency
• Communicating with customers and technicians regarding any scheduling updates
• Fostering and building lasting relationships with customers and technicians through outstanding service
• Identifying customer needs and providing information and solution options through extensive knowledge of company products, services, and technician skillsets
• Communicating professionally and conscientiously in all customer and team interactions
• Aiding with additional administrative tasks, as needed

Requirements

• Experience in dispatching or within a similar customer service role is preferred, but not required
• Skilled at creative problem-solving and critical analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening
• A friendly demeanor with a positive go-getter personality
• Outstanding organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining accurate records
• A self-starter mentality with great time management skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability on the job
• Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting and courteously interacting with a variety of personalities
• Eagerness to learn and apply new techniques and technologies
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, understanding, and speaking

Passing a background check is required.
