Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage scheduling and provide daily routing to the commercial driver team for efficient operations and timely responses.
• Document routine maintenance, driver records, and route data; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and enforce safe driving habits.
• Schedule customer delivery appointments, production shuttling, and other moves to support business needs; use proper channels for scheduling.
• Support communication with drivers throughout the day while routing them to successfully execute routes, ensuring communication is not distracting.
• Perform daily audit of drivers' Hours of Service, Dash Cam Events, and Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports; correct defects promptly.
• Support driver needs in the event of a vehicle breakdown.
• Use Telematics systems to track driver locations; keep current locations saved for mapping, reporting, and routing; update fleet and driver information as needed.
• Maintain on-time frequency of equipment maintenance intervals; use provider's software as recommended.
• Perform random inspections of tractor/trailers to ensure cleanliness.
• Communicate daily routing progress to leadership; ask for assistance when required.
• Report all safety‑sensitive incidents to management and HR.

Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Fleet Management, Transportation Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Desired: 1‑3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management.
• Desired: 1‑3 years of experience with mapping tools and communication systems.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, Telematics, Outlook, and Reporting.

Pay

The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $26 – $35 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
