Dispatch Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cook up and dispatch dump trucks daily across active job sites.
• Act as the go-to person for contractors, keeping them in the loop about truck statuses and arrival times.
• Match available hauling capacity with contractor demands and tweak schedules on the fly.
• Bring on new owner operators to expand hauling capabilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and open new hauling accounts.
• Keep track of loads, hours, and job statuses accurately, maintaining clean records.
• Handle issues swiftly when plans change and ensure all parties are kept informed.

Qualifications

• Experience dispatching trucks, coordinating logistics, or managing field operations is preferred.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to win and grow business.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm and dependable under pressure.
• Skilled with dispatch software, spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Knowledge of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach construction market is a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for hours at a time.
