Dispatch Coordinator

About the Role

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld-Wen, one of the Nation's largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows and Millwork is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service / Dispatch Clerk to support our Distribution, Production and Sales teams in our Rialto Distribution Facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard working individual, as this position requires a wide range of tasks that requires organization in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating production items to several departments, enter dates and quantities in DPS system
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating job site deliveries and production order flow, ensuring safe and on-time pickup and delivery
• Distribute and slot tickets as required
• Provide customer service and support to customers via the phone and email, as well as will-call
• Communicate customer service needs with drivers, sales, and operations
• Update scheduling database with ticket details

Qualifications

• Solid customer service background
• Answering a high volume of calls from Drivers, Customers, and Sales Team
• Logistics or transportation experience
• 2+ years of basic computer skills, with ability to be trained on company software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive outgoing attitude
• Self-motivated, goal-orientated, excellent work habits
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere

Pay

Expected pay for this role is between $42,300.00 to $63,500.00 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
