Portland Tractor is an integral entity of Leavitt Industrial Group. The Opportunity Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a Dismantler to join our team in Washougal, Washington. As the Dismantler you will safely dismantle heavy equipment using hand and power tools, rigging equipment, and lifting gear. Essential Duties & Responsibilities As the Dismantler your key responsibilities will include: Dismantle heavy equipment in a safe and efficient mannerFollow safety rules and regulations, as well as company policies and proceduresWear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as neededUse rigging equipment and lifting gear to safely remove and transport componentsUse pin presses, hammers and jacks to remove attachments and frames from machineryMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all timesCommunicate with management on job completion and assignments Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies: Prior experience in equipment service and maintenance is strongly preferredEnrollment in or completion of a trade or vocational school considered an assetMust own hand and power tools needed to complete machine dismantling tasksStrong mechanical abilityAbility to follow factory processes for dismantling equipmentStrong mechanical abilityA willingness to complete required trainingAbility to work overtime and weekends when neededHigh school diploma or equivalent required Benefits & Perks Portland Tractor Inc. is proud to offer competitive compensation and flexible benefits coverage for all eligible employees: Company-matched 401K contributionsComprehensive and competitive medical health care planMedical benefits and extended health service coveragePrescription drug coverageDental plan and vision planTelehealth plan with MDLiveLife insurance and disability insuranceEmployee assistance programsOngoing professional development and training opportunities The base pay range for this role is: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience. This is an onsite role based in Washougal, Washington.
