About the role
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
Responsibilities
- Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware using appropriate cleaning solutions and methods.
- Ensure all equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Organize and store cleaned items in designated areas.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices.
