Position Summary
Working as part of the Food and Beverage team, the Kitchen Attendant will support the culinary and service staff by providing janitorial and kitchen tasks.
Essential Duties
- Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
- Preparation for next shift by cleaning and restocking dish storage areas and cook stations
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled
- Taking out the trash, recycling and compost and rinsing garbage cans
- Remain current with company issued trainings and required certifications
- Commit to safely operating commercial dish machine
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill And Ability Requirements
- Actively pursuing a High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Previous kitchen experience, preferred, not required
- Responsible and dependable - able to carry out assigned duties without supervision
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
