Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher to properly clean all dishes and cooking utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Scrub pots and re-stock all supplies in assigned areas.
• Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including cleaning and mopping kitchen floors and trash removal.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas and back dock.
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass, and silver using proper procedures.
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• Restock all clean glasses, silverware, and plates.
• Perform general cleaning to stay in compliance with the Health Department.
• Put away food stock and dry goods in their proper location, rotating “first in, first out.”
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Supportive Functions

• Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills or executing special guest requests.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Willingness to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties as a team player.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
