Position Summary

Dishwasher / Prep Cooks will wash dishes and utensils, prepare ingredients for cooking, and ensure the kitchen is clean and well-stocked while following safety and quality standards. This is a union position.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and cleaning utensils
• Preparing ingredients for cooking
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial kitchen dishwashing and/or food industry experience
• Multilingual: Communicates in more than one language

Schedule

Current shifts available may vary, Monday - Sunday between 8am - 8pm. Flexibility required to meet business needs.

Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106

Physical and Working Requirements

• Frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the kitchen and storage areas
• Frequent positioning to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products
• Frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs
• Constant preparation and handling of items, with occasional ascending/descending of a ladder to reach high shelving
• Utilization of various equipment including but not limited to knives and mixers
• Exchanging accurate information in person
• Occasional work in a walk-in cooler
• Exposure to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises
