Dishwasher/Prep Cook

About the role

Performs various duties associated with the production and service of patient meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assists in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• May assist with meal preparation and serving as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand or walk most of the working day.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist numerous times daily.
• Must be able to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Must be able to sweep and mop floors.
• Must be able to push/pull carts.
• Must be able to climb on safety ladders to perform cleaning, storage, or other duties.

Qualifications

Previous dietary experience preferred, but not required.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using a computer to input data).

$14.25 - $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-Time, Rotating Weekends and Shifts. Evening Shift: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
