About the role
Performs various duties associated with the production and service of patient meals.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food according to recipes and guidelines
- Washes, sanitizes, and stocks equipment and utensils
- Cleans and maintains kitchen and dining areas
- Serves meals to patients in a timely manner
- Ensures compliance with food safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Physical ability to stand or walk most of the working day
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds
- Ability to sweep and mop floors
- Ability to push/pull carts
- Ability to climb on safety ladders
Qualifications
- Previous dietary experience preferred, but not required
Skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions
