Dishwasher (Part-Time)

About the Role

The Latitude Dishwasher is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with the overall dining program and execution of all aspects of the culinary experience for the property. This includes daily operation of the restaurant, catering, and special events. The role ensures an exceptionally clean facility for all residents and team members, maintaining and cleaning all areas of the operations as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles
• Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
• Clean dish storage
• Follow sanitation policies at all times
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
• Perform opening, closing, and side work as assigned
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
• Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the appropriate party

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred
• 1-2 years prior experience in a similar position
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Positive interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and twist
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Friendly demeanor and ability to work in a team or independently
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills and common sense
• Proper labeling and storage of chemicals

$17.00 per hour
