Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members at all times.
- Expand upon basic requirements to provide a memorable experience.
- Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with every guest, business partner, and peers.
- Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip resistant shoes.
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines.
- Wash items in 3 compartment sinks, when dishwasher is unavailable.
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately, following Food Safety and Sanitation Guidelines.
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, utensils, and equipment, especially during peak hours.
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents).
- Check dishwashing machines’ operation and report any technical/performance issues to management.
- Remove garbage regularly.
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
- Go above and beyond for guests and other team members.
- Enthusiastically support decisions once they have been made by management.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment that is free of safety hazards, including sweeping and mopping.
- Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and regulations including those relating to food safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Must smile often!
- Must have a High School diploma or GED.
- Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
- ServSafe Certification, or equivalent, preferred.
- Able to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
- Able to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
- Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with others.
