Dishwasher- Miss J's Diner

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooks
• Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods by providing assistance with various tasks as required
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen setting
