About the role

As a Janitor/Dishwasher at Chuy’s, you play a crucial role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly, safely, and looking as fresh as our famous tortillas. Your responsibilities include ensuring every guest enters a spotlessly clean and welcoming environment and providing the clean tools and organized workspace needed by our kitchen team to prepare and serve high-quality food quickly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the restaurant’s facilities, including floors, restrooms, and common areas.
• Prepare and maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working order.
• Assist the kitchen staff with setting up and cleaning up after meals.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
