About the Role

This is an office‑critical position located in or around Milwaukee, WI; on‑site attendance is required. As a Dishwasher for Taste of Home, reporting to the Prep Kitchen Manager, you will assist multiple kitchens and studios by washing and maintaining a clean, organized stock of dishes and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand. You will circulate throughout these areas to collect dirty items and return cleaned and dried items to the proper cooking or storage locations, while ensuring the dishwashing area remains clean, safe, and sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment using the commercial dishwasher or by hand.
• Hand‑wash prop dishes separately from other dishes.
• Transport and store clean dishes in the appropriate storage area, kitchen, or studio.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of kitchens, walk‑in coolers, and storage areas, including wiping counters, carts, coolers, trays, shelving, stovetops, and ovens.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous operating experience with commercial‑grade dishwashing equipment in a food‑service setting (ideal).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend/stoop frequently.
• Ability to understand and carry out directions or guidance effectively.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in a team environment under pressure.
