Dishwasher
Responsibilities
- Unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers
- Scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine
- Additional cleaning responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent stamina and physical health
- We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Food industry experience preferred, but not required
- Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
About the Role
Keep track of dishwashing machine mechanical defects while also maintaining accurate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies
Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily
Take part in employee meetings regularly to stay up to date on all policies and safety regulations
Place utensils and dishes in proper storage areas after unloading the dishwasher
Rinse glassware, scrape plates, and sort dishes before loading them into the dishwasher
Food preparation daily
