Maintained Kitchen and Dining Areas

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment
• Cleans floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned
• Promotes a restaurant style dining atmosphere

Customer Service and Collaboration

• Provides high level of customer service
• Works closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director
• Ensures resident satisfaction with food and dining programs

Sanitation and Safety

• Maintains kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition
• Washes and stores dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures
• Maintains dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner
• Keeps kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops), and empties trash

Additional Duties

• Assists with preparation and execution of Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs
• Maintains dish machine after each meal
• Adheres to cleaning schedules as assigned
• Assists with transportation and storage of food and supplies
• Assists cooks and wait staff as requested
• Adheres to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices
• Assists with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
• Attends pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service
