About the role

The Dishwasher is a crucial part of our Kitchen Team, responsible for ensuring that all dishware, cookware, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and ready for service. This role plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen while supporting the team in delivering a top-tier dining experience for every guest.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Maintain a steady flow of clean dishware and cookware to support kitchen and service teams.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, cutting boards, and prep stations remain clean and sanitary.
• Properly sort and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste in designated areas.
• Monitor chemical levels and equipment functionality, alerting managers of any issues.
• Assist with sweeping, mopping, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout each shift.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with restaurant policies.
• Work as part of a team-service approach, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a stress-free and engaging work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience in dishwashing, janitorial, or kitchen support roles is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods (6-10 hours per shift).
• Lift and carry heavy dish racks, pots, and supplies weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions such as scrubbing, lifting, and loading/unloading dishware.
• Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and dishwashing equipment.

Compensation

This position starts at $15.00 per hour.
