Responsibilities
- Adhere to the company’s dishwashing procedures to ensure that all expectations regarding the cleaning, sanitizing, and storing of dishware and utensils are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation, kitchen, and food storage areas at all times.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
- Organize items as they are cleaned, restock areas where items are stored.
- Follow all procedures outlined for health and safety in accordance with company policies and follow proper use and storage of chemicals used to clean kitchen items.
- Work as a busser, assuming all duties of that position, when not otherwise scheduled in the kitchen.
- Be alert to kitchen equipment to ensure utilization, proper care, and maintenance is adhered to. Report repairs needed promptly.
- Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives.
- All other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to take direction and change tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with many personality types.
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs. Majority of shift spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, near other people.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent as required by company policy.
- Must be 18 years of age.
