About the role
The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas, and front and back exterior areas associated with the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Perform dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning
- Storage and rotation of food and supplies
- Handle janitorial duties in dining services areas and exterior areas
- Comply with sanitary procedures and standards and adhere to federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation
- Handle multiple priorities
- Stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 45 lbs., and perform tasks in hot, wet, and damp confined spaces
- Communicate effectively with staff and management
- Show organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Perform related tasks as requested
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in hospitality
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 45 lbs., and perform tasks in hot, wet, and damp confined spaces
- Possess written and verbal communication skills
- Show organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Be flexible in performing related tasks as requested
