About the role

City Barbeque is seeking individuals who can provide great backyard hospitality, work independently, and contribute to a team environment. We are looking for candidates who can cross-train and work multiple stations, maintain high standards for food preparation and sanitation, and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for each shift and practice proper time reporting
• Complete hot food prep assignments by following recipes accurately, neatly, and according to sanitation guidelines
• Work in collaboration to prepare take out and catering orders in a timely fashion
• Follow station checklists and cleaning lists consistently and thoroughly
• Provide a positive attitude when interacting with teammates and guests

Requirements

To be considered for these positions, applicants must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay

The starting hourly rate for these positions is $15.00 per hour, with potential for raises twice a year.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on department needs, but typically run from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
