As a Garage Door Designer at Precision Garage Door Service, you'll receive training to quickly become operational with your own company vehicle and customer flow. We provide all the tools necessary to grow your career as far as you want. You'll be at the forefront, helping customers by repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors, ensuring they fully understand their service options.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair: Repair garage doors, operators, replace worn or broken parts, install new equipment, including doors, and replace springs.
- Educate the customer: Explain repair options and preventive measures in detail, and review completed work with customers.
- Sell services and equipment: Use our proven model to sell services to customers using a good/better/best approach, and collect payments.
- Manage inventory: Keep your vehicle stocked with the right equipment, tools, and products to complete jobs efficiently.

Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
- Comfortable working in heat, cold, and uncontrolled environments (e.g., garages without temperature control).
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and adherence to our customer service process.
- Preferred (but not required) experience in the garage door industry; we provide training.
- Ability to use a computer/tablet and operate hand tools/mechanical equipment.
- Comfort with technology.
Pay and Benefits
During your 90-day training period, you'll receive a base hourly pay of $XX.XX. After training, you'll earn commissions on completed work. Most designers earn between $60,000 and $100,000 per year.
