Discipleship Coordinator

About the role

We’re looking for someone who loves Jesus deeply, loves people genuinely, gets stuff done, and has a knack for bringing order to a lot of moving pieces to help strengthen Discipleship at our Spartanburg Campus. If you enjoy shepherding people, developing leaders, building healthy ministry, and have a can-do attitude, you might be our person. All NewSpring staff members agree to uphold our church’s vision and values as well as our beliefs. This job is located in Spartanburg, SC.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Comfortable navigating ministry technology systems
• Confident in developing and empowering volunteer leaders
• Able to readily see what needs to be done and follow it through to completion
• Noticing people in the room, caring about their stories, and being someone they can count on

Schedule

• Early mornings and evening hours (not a typical 9‑to‑5)
• Lots of time in conversations (likely plenty of coffee)
