Disability Services and Ministries Activity Leader

About the role

The role involves supervising and supporting participants with developmental disabilities by leading engaging activities that foster social relationships and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored activities based on Individual Service Plans
• Facilitate personal and spiritual development
• Maintain accurate records
• Organize special events and community outings
• Collaborate with community and parish partners
• Communicate effectively with participants and caregivers
• Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Certification in First Aid and CPR (preferred or required within six months)
• Ability to pass a background check and willingness to obtain required certifications
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted and navigate various environments

Schedule
