Responsibilities

• Screen foster youth electronic case files to identify children potentially eligible for SSA benefit programs.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to case workers on benefit-related matters.
• Develop and file SSA applications with supporting evidence, complete forms, and gather necessary signatures.
• Manage pending applications by tracking status, providing updates, and facilitating attendance for consultative exams requested by SSA.
• Maintain detailed records of all benefit activities and transactions.
• Provide periodic training to workers regarding the Social Security program.
• Act as the primary day-to-day liaison with client agencies.

Requirements

• An associate degree or 2 years relevant experience.
• A human service or public sector background preferred.

Pay

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave. Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
