About the role
The Heavy Dirt Work Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing heavy earthmoving and construction projects. They are expected to lead teams, ensure project timelines are met, and adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage heavy earthmoving and construction projects
- Lead and motivate project teams
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in construction management
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment and techniques
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of relevant training programs (optional but beneficial)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with project management software (optional but beneficial)
