About the Role
Leads and directs all aspects of the Women’s Health service line across inter/intra-departmental lines, demonstrating a passion for the work, a commitment to the mission, vision, values, and behaviors of the organization, and utilizing the Studer Group's Nine Principles for department operations for OB/GYN, Pediatrics, and OB Hospitalist. Responsibilities include:
- Program development and strategic planning
- Implementation of strategic plans and goal development
- Budget development and management
- Quality management and customer satisfaction (patient, employee, and physician)
- Process improvement and staff/leadership development
- Capital asset acquisition and management
- Service agreements supporting these services and organizational goals
Ensures appropriate processes, quality measures, education, and collaboration within and outside the organization to strive for continual performance excellence. Chairs and co-chairs meetings associated with the service line. Works in close collaboration with the Women’s Health Physician Dyad partner to set strategic goals and drive continuous quality and process improvement. Uses data to drive decisions and essential changes to promote high-quality care, workflows, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- BSN (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years related nursing experience
- Minimum 3 years progressive nurse leadership experience
- Master’s degree in a related field (preferred)
Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Maintain current BLS certification
