About the Role
To facilitate, integrate, coordinate, and direct all treatment actions within Residential programs as prescribed in the treatment philosophy, agency goals, and objectives for Rosecrance Jackson Recovery Centers. Provide and monitor continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications/Education Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related health field.
- Certified Addiction/Drug Counselor (CADC) or LMHT/LCSW, or established within 12 months.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the professional field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Residential experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
- Minimum of two years program development experience.
- Specific education, experience, or training in budget preparation.
- Specific education, experience, or training in Substance Use Disorder treatment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a system of accountability to monitor utilization of program resources, clinical appropriateness, quality and outcome of services, and client satisfaction.
- Participate in the development of strategic plans, goals, objectives, and organizational structure.
- Participate in planning, implementing, and developing the budget.
- Develop vision-driven goals and operational plans for program and clinical service centers.
- Organize the overall approach to the delivery of services across all clinical programs and provide supervision in the performance of these functions within their respective programs.
- Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures governed by federal and state guidelines regarding confidentiality and abuse reporting; embrace the Code of Conduct/Ethics policies.
- Develop and maintain professional and supportive relationships with all staff.
- Lead creative and innovative solutions to improve performance and enhance clinical competencies.
- Deliver on-time expectations and constructive feedback to direct staff and others in a supportive and vision-enhancing manner; deliver performance feedback on a timely basis.
- Coordinate the efforts of all program areas within a single vision that advances the vision and mission.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with regulatory standards for all service standards.
- Maintain professional licensure and certification, as applicable.
- Prepare or facilitate grant proposals, requests for funding, contracts, and similar forms of participation with business partners and funding sources.
- Support and promote the vision through participation in community or profession programs and events aligned with or useful to the promotion of the vision, mission, beliefs, and values while promoting a positive image at all times.
- Network with colleagues in the Siouxland area on a cooperative and collaborative basis to advance the vision and mission.
Physical Requirements
- Vision: Must be able to read documentation, policies, procedures, and other written materials (75-100%).
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with patients within an individual, group, or family setting (75-100%); communicate with coworkers (25-49%); communicate on the telephone with a variety of individuals (25-49%).
- Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility between departments within the facility (25-49%).
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0-24%.
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently to lift or move objects (25-49%).
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to finger keyboard for computer work and phone equipment for placing/receiving calls (50-74%).
- Sitting: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods when conducting individual or group counseling, assessments, etc. (50-74%).
Environment
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requires the use of universal precautions and/or personal protective equipment. Exposure to computers.
Pay
The starting salary for this position is $78,794.56, based on education, experience, and credentials.
