Director, Wellness & Health Coaching

About the role

The Director of Wellness and Health Coaching provides leadership for the strategy, operations, and fiscal oversight of all Wellness and Health Coaching Services. He/she possesses a wellness, well-being, and population health philosophy along with operating principles that serve as the foundation of the programs which its aim is to empower Ohio State University faculty and staff to reach their health potential and optimal state of well-being. In addition, the role facilitates innovative programs and services that promote a healthy workplace culture for a multi-generational workforce with onsite and remote workspaces. The Director applies his/her clinical and business knowledge and work experience to operate the wellness and health coaching services efficiently and leads to a viable wellness business for the OSU Health Plan. The Director works collaboratively with both internal and external constituents throughout OSU to advance programming and strives to operate the program with High Reliable Organization (HRO) principles.
