TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the development of strategic guidance for biomarker imaging, ensuring oncology programs utilize appropriate imaging techniques throughout the drug development process
- Advise on the use of imaging biomarkers and techniques in clinical trials, focusing on radiopharmaceuticals in collaboration with Radiology and external imaging CROs
- Participate in Program Teams, providing oncology expertise to develop translation and imaging strategies
- Direct the global oncology Radiomics approach, providing expertise and leadership across the portfolio
- Coordinate all aspects of imaging delivery in synchronization with the drug R&D process, informed by a deep understanding of clinical development in oncology and state-of-the-art imaging strategies
- Develop imaging tools to measure drug response/effectiveness through internal and external collaborations
- Ensure regulatory compliance of imaging activities and drive qualification processes
- Evaluate, interpret, and present results from imaging analyses to support decision-making
- Identify new collaboration opportunities and manage relationships with partners to drive imaging excellence
- Contribute to self-empowered matrix teams, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, and promoting a high-performance environment
WHO YOU ARE
- Medical Doctor (MD or MD/PhD) or imaging scientist (PhD) trained in radiology, nuclear medicine, imaging physics or image analysis including some industry experience
- Proven track record of research and/or development (including oncology applications with emphasis on radiological and /or PET/SPECT imaging and biomarker use) with a focus on radiopharmaceuticals
- Experience with clinical and preclinical imaging in oncology drug development (PET, SPECT, CT, bioluminescence, MRI…)
- Thorough understanding of imaging and clinical development in oncology; including experience with regulatory framework for biomarkers, and use of imaging for registration of Oncology products. Experience managing imaging CROs
- Outstanding scientific reputation as evidenced by multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and as speaker of conferences and strong network in the academic and clinical community of imaging specialties (mandatory) and of Oncology (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
BENEFITS
- Salary range: $169,680.00 - $254,520.00
- Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant)
