Director - Transaction Processing - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

About the role

The Director – Transaction Processing oversees the Payroll and Accounts Payable functions for the John Muir Health System. Responsibilities include training and managing staff, reviewing and finalizing all Federal and State required forms, updating and maintaining Payroll/AP computer systems, processing executive payroll, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 5 years of Accounting – Payroll experience (Required)
• 2 years of Management – Supervisory experience (Required)
• 3 years of Accounting – Accounts Payable experience (Required)
• Experience with Accounting – Payroll/AP Systems (Required)
• Healthcare setting experience (Preferred)

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (Preferred)
• Associate’s Degree – Business Administration (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) or alternate degree/experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Skills

• Knowledge of current State and Federal payroll regulations
• Knowledge of Sales Use tax laws and W9/1099 regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Pay

Pay range: $202,088.00 – $303,131.00. Salary offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
