Director - Total Rewards
About the role
The Director – Total Rewards oversees the management and coordination of the benefits and compensation functions, including employee benefit programs, compensation practices, leave administration, related compliance, and vendor management. This is a hybrid position requiring at least one day per week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement total rewards strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Design and manage compensation and benefits programs, including insurance programs, salary structures, merit cycles, and health and welfare initiatives.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking and analyze industry trends to ensure competitiveness of total rewards programs.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop, implement, administer and maintain reward programs that drive business results.
- Manage vendor partnerships, and ensure effective allocation of resources while contributing to the benefits budget.
- Manage and develop two members of the Total Rewards team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in total rewards or benefits, with experience in a leadership role.
- Certification in compensation, benefits and/or HR, such as CEBS, CCP, CPSP, QKA, and/or SHRM-CP.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful total rewards programs that drive business results.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with HR systems and technology, including compensation and benefits software.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with, advise and influence executive audiences.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience with HRIS systems and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
