Responsibilities

  • Partner with the company’s Chief Strategy Office and Legal leadership during all stages of acquisition transactions
  • Lead legal due diligence and coordinate risk communication and solutions across functions
  • Develop strategies to enhance transaction processes, leveraging AI where applicable
  • Support corporate venture capital initiatives and manage outside counsel relationships
  • Negotiate and draft agreements for commercial and technology partnerships
  • Aid in high-priority legal tasks across the department
  • Engage in portfolio management for strategic investments

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal experience focused on M&A, particularly in strategic acquisition transactions
  • Proven experience with complex strategic transaction negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and work proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative, adaptability, and ownership of challenges
  • High level of legal and business judgment, with strong attention to detail
  • Passion for process improvement and use of AI in legal transactions
  • Effective communication skills with various stakeholders
  • Active bar membership in good standing for in-house practice
