About the role

The Commercial Team at Fluidstack operates at the forefront of negotiating and executing large, multi-party deals. Key responsibilities include closing gigawatt deals faster than competitors, managing the entire deal lifecycle from initial contact to site mobilization, and ensuring all processes are efficient and repeatable.

Responsibilities

  • Own the deal negotiation process, driving deals from first conversation to signature.
  • Operate with extreme ownership, full autonomy, and zero handoffs throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain deal tracking systems, documentation standards, and workflows.
  • Create stage gates, readiness checklists, and escalation paths for efficient process management.
  • Collaborate closely with legal to ensure contracts are signed on aggressive timelines.
  • Communicate pipeline and deal health updates clearly and concisely to leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-stakes commercial negotiations, such as M&A, leveraged finance, or complex infrastructure transactions.
  • Proven ability to close large, multi-party deals under time pressure.
  • Strong background in infrastructure, energy, or data center transactions.
  • Experience in building or operating a deal desk or commercial-ops function.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion within aggressive timelines.
  • Experience with contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Benefits

Fluidstack offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary range of $300,000 - $390,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits include:
