Director, Strategic Insights

About the role

This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee the company’s market intelligence and research agenda
• Lead primary and secondary research initiatives including surveys and industry analysis
• Develop frameworks for tracking competitors and market changes in youth sports
• Manage relationships with external research partners and data providers
• Translate market data into executive-level insights for strategic decision-making
• Support corporate and product strategy with insights into customer behavior and opportunities
• Build and promote organizational capabilities for market and competitive intelligence

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years in market research, corporate strategy, consulting, or related fields
• Proven track record in leading research and insights initiatives for senior executives
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Exceptional ability to distill complex information into clear insights and presentations
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and communicating insights effectively
• Project management expertise with a focus on vendor and partner coordination
• Adaptable, with a strong ownership mindset in dynamic environments
