About the Role

You will serve as the senior finance leader and trusted advisor to the Customer Experience (CX) and Product Operations (ProdOps) leadership, shaping financial strategies for these organizations. This role involves setting ambitious targets, developing financial forecasts, evaluating strategic initiatives, leading strategic forums, and building a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the CX & ProdOps relationship on behalf of Finance, serving as a strategic thought partner to leadership.
  • Set and achieve ambitious targets for CX & ProdOps through collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Evaluate new strategic initiatives using financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Lead recurring CX & ProdOps Strategic Finance forums, including business reviews, planning cycles, and materials for executive and Board audiences.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Data & Analytics to develop performance dashboards and provide senior leaders with actionable insights.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or private equity, preferably in a high-growth technology company.
  • Expert-level financial modeling and analytical skills, with a strong track record of handling complex operating and headcount models.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS customer economics, including NRR, GRR, churn drivers, expansion motions, and cost-to-serve.
  • Direct experience supporting Implementation, Technical Account Management, Support, or Product Operations organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to operate at a senior level with significant independence, managing multiple workstreams and influencing outcomes without authority.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing teams and raising the analytical bar across an organization.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, capable of presenting clearly and credibly to C-suite and Board-level audiences.
  • Experience in a public company or public-company–ready environment is a plus.
  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan), Salesforce, and SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is a plus.

Benefits

Rippling offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and equity compensation. The salary range for US-based employees is 230,000 - 300,000 USD per year, depending on location.

Schedule

This role is hybrid, allowing employees to work from either the San Francisco or New York City office, at least three days a week.
