CX Finance Director
About the role
We’re hiring a Finance Director to own Finance for CX Global Technical Services and Service Logistics, the delivery engine behind our Evergreen subscription business. This is a high-ownership leadership role with meaningful exposure to E-staff and senior VP leaders.
Responsibilities
- Own Finance for Global Technical Services and Service Logistics, with accountability for the financial performance, planning, and operating insight of the domain.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to senior CX, Finance, and E-staff leaders, bringing a point of view on service delivery strategy, investment trade-offs, operating model choices, and operational priorities — not just analysis.
- Lead the financial strategy behind service delivery, including workforce planning, service logistics economics, spares strategy, depot and repair network design, and broader cost-to-serve optimization.
- Build and run the financial review cadence for the business, including operational KPIs, financial performance, and leading indicators that help leaders see around corners.
- Translate large, messy datasets into a simple set of insights, risks, and recommendations that shape how senior stakeholders think about service delivery performance, investment, and risk.
- Own core planning processes for the domain, including month-end close support, forecasting, and AOP, with strong linkage across OpEx, CapEx, headcount, and business priorities.
- Strengthen controllership across the domain by improving data integrity, decision support, planning rigor, and the processes and controls that keep the business operating cleanly at scale.
- Identify structural problems and build durable solutions through automation, simplification, standardization, and better operating mechanisms — not one-off fixes.
- Lead cross-functional work across Accounting, Procurement, Product BUs, IT, HR, and shared services teams to resolve issues, improve planning quality, and drive decisions to closure.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses that help leadership evaluate service delivery choices, quantify trade-offs across growth, margin, service levels, and risk, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Hire, coach, and develop talent on the team, raising the quality bar and creating an environment where strong people grow faster and operate more independently.
Requirements
You will be joining a dynamic, innovative team in an exciting area of tech. This is a high-ownership leadership role with meaningful exposure to E-staff and senior VP leaders. You will set the financial and analytical agenda for the domain, shape how senior leaders think about service delivery, and ensure Finance is influencing strategy — not just reporting results.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in FP&A, GTM Finance, or business finance, with strong preference for supporting a Services, Support, Technical Services, or Logistics-related organization.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders through clear thinking, strong business judgment, and high-quality analysis.
- Demonstrated success operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the problem is not always well defined upfront.
- Strong financial modeling, scenario planning, and analytics skills, with a track record of turning analysis into decisions and outcomes.
- Experience building scalable reporting, dashboards, and automated processes that improve business visibility and reduce manual work.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across multiple teams and drive work forward without relying on formal authority alone.
- Sound controllership instincts, including attention to data integrity, risk identification, and process discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for senior audiences and tailor the message to the moment.
- Experience with tools such as Anaplan, SAP or NetSuite, Tableau, and Salesforce, or similar systems.
- A high bar for ownership, pace, and follow-through.
